Les Rodriguez was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico.  Naguabo, is a picturesque town in the tip of El Yunque – The Carribean National Rain Forest in the eastern portion of the island. He grew up in New York City, where he began to sing barbershop style harmony at the age of 14. He has been singing ever since. At the age of 17, his family returned to Puerto Rico.  Les pursued private voice lessons with Baritone, Samuel Perez, a graduate of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, where Samuel earned a degree in vocal performance. Though the years Les pursued his passion for barbershop style music by singing with numerous quartets, including the Majesty Vocal Quartet, a professional male performance vocal band with rich harmony, of which Les is a founding member.

In 1998, Les relocated to Miami, Florida and enrolled in the Voice program at Miami Dade College.  He began his formal college music education with Soprano, Ada de Luque, a graduate of the Conservatory of Music of Bologna, Italy, where she earned a Master’s Degree in music and vocal performance.

Les and Ada joined creative forces and have completed Les’ debut solo album title “Dal Mio Cuore”. It is a classical cross-over album with a number of well known standards like “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, “Let There Be Peace on Earth”, “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”, “Panis Angelicus”, “The Prayer” and “O Sole Mio”.  The album contains songs in four different languages; English, Spanish, Italian and Latin with contemporary beats.

In addition to singing solo, over the years Les has sung with a number of barbershop style quartets, bands and concert choirs; including Mira Costa College Choir, Miami Temple Concert Choir, St. Kiernan’s Church Choir, Kendall Spanish Choir, Living ‘N Praise Vocal Quartet and the famed Miamians.
